Hell's Gate National Park, Naivasha

As I stepped into Hell's Gate National Park, I was immediately struck by its raw, untamed beauty. The park's name is no exaggeration – the towering cliffs and deep gorges truly make you feel like you're entering another world. The most striking feature is the narrow gorge that cuts through the park, with its red sandstone walls rising dramatically on either side. As I hiked along the gorge floor, I couldn't help but feel dwarfed by the sheer scale of my surroundings. The park is teeming with wildlife, and I was lucky enough to spot zebras, gazelles, and even a few baboons during my visit. One of the highlights was cycling through the park, which allowed me to cover more ground and really take in the diverse landscapes. The geothermal activity in the area is fascinating, with steam vents and hot springs dotting the landscape. I'll never forget the eerie sight of steam rising from the ground, giving the park an otherworldly atmosphere. Despite its name, Hell's Gate is a slice of paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
