Jeongbang Waterfall, Seogwipo

As I approached Jeongbang Waterfall, the sound of rushing water grew louder, building anticipation for the spectacle ahead. Suddenly, there it was – a magnificent 23-meter cascade plunging directly into the sea. It's the only waterfall in Asia that falls straight into the ocean, making it a truly unique sight. The contrast between the fresh water and the salty sea creates a mesmerizing scene. I was captivated by the mist rising from the impact, creating rainbows in the sunlight. The black volcanic rocks surrounding the falls add to its dramatic beauty, a testament to Jeju Island's volcanic origins. I took my time exploring the area, finding perfect spots for photos and simply soaking in the natural wonder. The nearby viewing platform offers an excellent vantage point, but I also enjoyed scrambling over the rocks to get closer to the falls. The cool spray was refreshing on a warm day. As the tide changes, so does the appearance of the waterfall, making each visit unique. It's no wonder Jeongbang is considered one of Jeju's most beautiful attractions.
