The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption stands proudly, its white façade gleaming in the sunlight. I found myself drawn to the lively atmosphere, with locals and tourists mingling, creating a wonderful blend of cultures. The plaza comes alive during festivals, with traditional dances and music filling the air. It's also an excellent starting point for exploring the town, with many tour operators offering trips to nearby attractions like the Colca Canyon.
