As I wandered through the five interconnected houses, I was struck by the sheer scale of the place. The elaborate jharokhas (overhanging enclosed balconies) offer stunning views of the Golden City. Inside, the opulence continues with mirror-work, paintings, and ornate archways. I was particularly fascinated by the old furniture and artifacts on display, offering a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of wealthy merchants from centuries past. The haveli's unique architecture, designed to keep the interiors cool in the desert heat, is truly ingenious. Despite some areas needing restoration, the overall experience is unforgettable.
