Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool, Viti Levu

Nestled in the lush Sabeto Valley of Fiji, the Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool offer a truly unique and rejuvenating experience. As I approached the site, I was immediately struck by the serene beauty of the surroundings. The air was filled with the gentle sound of bubbling water and the earthy scent of mineral-rich mud. The main attraction is the series of natural hot springs, each pool varying in temperature and size. I started with a soothing soak in the warm waters, feeling the tension melt away from my muscles. The locals believe these springs have healing properties, and I could certainly feel their restorative effects. Next came the highlight of the experience - the mud pool. Slathering the silky, grey mud all over my body was both fun and invigorating. As it dried, I could feel my skin tightening and purifying. After rinsing off in the cool river nearby, my skin felt incredibly soft and refreshed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing stories about the area's history and the traditional uses of the mud. This natural spa day was the perfect way to unwind and connect with Fiji's incredible nature.
