Nestled in the heart of Gorkha, this captivating museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Nepal's rich history. As I wandered through its halls, I was immediately struck by the impressive collection of artifacts dating back centuries. The museum is housed in a beautiful traditional Newari-style building, adding to its charm. I was particularly intrigued by the exhibits showcasing the Gorkha Kingdom's military prowess, including ancient weapons and uniforms. The detailed dioramas depicting historical battles were truly impressive. One of the highlights was the section dedicated to King Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal. The personal items and royal regalia on display really brought his story to life. I also enjoyed learning about the local culture and traditions through the ethnographic exhibits.
