Divorce Beach (Playa del Divorcio), Cabo San Lucas

Nestled at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, Divorce Beach is a hidden gem that takes your breath away. As I stepped onto the golden sand, I was immediately struck by the raw beauty and power of nature. The beach gets its name from the dangerous undertow and crashing waves that make swimming here a risky endeavor. But don't let that deter you – the scenery is absolutely stunning. The contrast between the turquoise waters and the rugged rock formations is simply mesmerizing. I spent hours just sitting on the sand, watching the waves crash against the shore and feeling the ocean breeze on my face. It's the perfect spot for quiet contemplation and breathtaking photos. What's unique about Divorce Beach is its proximity to the more tranquil Lover's Beach – you can easily walk between the two, experiencing both the wild and calm sides of the coast. As the sun began to set, the sky erupted in a palette of oranges and pinks, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Despite its ominous name, I found Divorce Beach to be a place of incredible natural beauty and serenity.
