Jokhang Temple, Lhasa

As I approached the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet, I was immediately struck by its grandeur and spiritual significance. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the sound of pilgrims chanting. The temple's golden roof gleamed in the sunlight, a beacon of Tibetan Buddhism for over 1,300 years. As I circled the temple's kora, I joined a stream of worshippers spinning prayer wheels and murmuring mantras.
