Ping’an Village, Longsheng County

Nestled in the heart of Guangxi's stunning rice terraces, Ping'an Village is a breathtaking sight to behold. As I wandered through its narrow pathways, I was struck by the incredible views of the Longji Rice Terraces stretching as far as the eye could see. The village itself is a charming blend of traditional Zhuang architecture, with wooden houses perched on stilts along the hillside. The locals, dressed in colorful traditional attire, welcomed me warmly, offering insights into their unique way of life. I spent hours exploring the winding trails that led to various viewpoints, each more spectacular than the last. The Seven Stars with Moon viewpoint was particularly awe-inspiring, especially at sunset when the terraces glowed golden. In the evening, I savored delicious local cuisine and sipped on fragrant tea while watching the mist roll in over the mountains. Ping'an Village truly offers a magical escape into rural China, where time seems to stand still and nature's beauty reigns supreme.
