The evening Ganga Aarti ceremony was a mesmerizing spectacle, with flames dancing in the twilight and chants echoing across the water. Further upstream, in Rishikesh, I witnessed the river in its more pristine form, with crystal-clear waters perfect for rafting adventures. The Ganges isn't just a river; it's the lifeblood of India, sustaining millions and holding immense cultural and religious importance. Despite concerns about pollution, efforts are being made to clean and preserve this sacred waterway. A journey along the Ganges is a profound experience, offering glimpses into India's rich heritage and spirituality.
