Emerald Grotto (Grotta dello Smeraldo), Positano

Nestled along the stunning Amalfi Coast, the Emerald Grotto is a hidden gem that takes your breath away. As our boat glided into the cave, I was immediately struck by the mesmerizing emerald glow that illuminates the water. This otherworldly light is created by sunlight filtering through an underwater opening, creating a magical atmosphere. The cave's limestone formations, sculpted over millennia, add to its ethereal beauty. Our guide expertly maneuvered the boat, allowing us to admire the intricate stalactites and stalagmites. The water was so clear I could see straight to the bottom, where an underwater nativity scene rests.
