Pillars of Ashoka, Varanasi District

Standing tall and proud across the Indian subcontinent, the Pillars of Ashoka are a testament to an ancient emperor's vision of peace and unity. As I approached these monumental stone columns, I was struck by their sheer size and the intricate carvings that adorned their surfaces.
