Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor

Walking down the Avenue of Sphinxes is like stepping back in time to ancient Egypt. This incredible 3,000-year-old path stretches for nearly two miles, connecting the temples of Karnak and Luxor. As I strolled along the avenue, I was awestruck by the hundreds of sphinx statues lining both sides of the road.
