CEC Palace (Palatul CEC), Wallachia

As I approached the CEC Palace in Bucharest, I was immediately struck by its grandeur. This stunning example of French Renaissance architecture dominates Calea Victoriei, one of the city's main boulevards. Although it's still a functioning bank, visitors can admire the public areas and soak in the atmosphere of this historic landmark.
