Loket Castle (Hrad Loket), Bohemia

The panoramic views from the castle's ramparts are simply breathtaking, offering a stunning vista of the surrounding landscape and the picturesque town of Loket below. I was surprised to learn that scenes from the James Bond film "Casino Royale" were filmed here. The castle's courtyard, with its charming café, provided a perfect spot to relax and soak in the medieval atmosphere. As I explored the winding corridors and climbed the ancient stairs, I felt a deep connection to the centuries of history that unfolded within these walls. Loket Castle is truly a gem of Czech heritage, offering visitors an unforgettable journey through time.
