Baie Ternay Marine National Park, Mahé

Nestled on the northwest coast of Mahé in the Seychelles, Baie Ternay Marine National Park is a hidden gem that took my breath away. As I stepped onto the pristine white sand beach, I was immediately struck by the crystal-clear turquoise waters stretching out before me. I enjoyed a peaceful picnic on the beach, feeling completely removed from the outside world. For the more adventurous, there are excellent diving opportunities to explore deeper reefs and underwater caves. The park is also a crucial nesting site for hawksbill turtles, and if you're lucky, you might witness these magnificent creatures coming ashore to lay their eggs. With its unspoiled beauty and rich biodiversity, Baie Ternay Marine National Park is truly a slice of paradise that left me in awe of nature's wonders.
