I was particularly moved by the Pantanassa Monastery, which continues to house nuns to this day. The atmosphere here is serene and spiritual, offering a glimpse into Byzantine monastic life. As I explored the ruins of houses and public buildings, I could almost imagine the bustling life of this once-thriving city. The Archaeological Museum provided fascinating insights into Mystras' history and significance. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-visit for history buffs and anyone seeking to experience the grandeur of the Byzantine Empire.
