Kasbah of the Udayas (Casbah des Oudaïas), Rabat

Stepping into the Kasbah of the Udayas is like traveling back in time. This 12th-century fortress in Rabat, Morocco, is a maze of narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses with blue accents. As I wandered through the labyrinthine alleys, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning views of the Bou Regreg river and the Atlantic Ocean. It's easy to see why this UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-visit attraction in Rabat.
