Nestled along Victoria's stunning coastline, Great Otway National Park is a breathtaking wonderland of diverse landscapes. As I wandered through the park, I was struck by the lush rainforests teeming with ancient ferns and towering eucalyptus trees. The air was filled with the soothing sounds of native birds and the gentle rustle of leaves. One of the highlights was definitely the Otway Fly Treetop Walk, where I found myself suspended high above the forest floor, getting a unique bird's-eye view of the canopy. The park's rugged coastline is equally impressive, with dramatic cliffs and secluded beaches that seem to stretch on forever. I was lucky enough to spot some wild koalas dozing in the trees and even caught a glimpse of a wallaby hopping through the undergrowth. The numerous waterfalls scattered throughout the park are simply magical, with Triplet Falls being a personal favorite. For the adventurous, there are plenty of hiking trails and mountain biking routes to explore. As the sun set, I found myself at the Cape Otway Lightstation, watching the sky turn a brilliant orange over the Southern Ocean. Great Otway National Park truly offers a slice of Australian wilderness at its finest.
