Wilpattu National Park is one of the beautiful national parks in Sri Lanka located in the Intermediate Zone which having both wet & dry climatic seasons. Also its uniqueness of having Freshwater villus gives evergreen lush forests throughout the year. The park it self consists of iconic Sri Lankan Leopards and Sloth Bears along with the gentle giants, Asian Elephants-specially the males who are loners. Not only the mammals, the birds with both migrants and natives (season from November to April).
