Marina di Praia, Campania

Nestled between towering cliffs on the Amalfi Coast, Marina di Praia is a hidden gem that took my breath away. This picturesque cove feels like a secret paradise, with its pebble beach and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the dramatic scenery – the steep cliffs seem to embrace the small beach, creating an intimate and secluded atmosphere. The beach itself is relatively small, but that only adds to its charm. I spent hours lounging on the pebbles, listening to the gentle lapping of waves and watching colorful fishing boats bob in the water. The Torre a Mare, an ancient watchtower perched on the cliff, adds a touch of history to the landscape. For lunch, I tried one of the seafood restaurants lining the beach, savoring fresh catch-of-the-day while enjoying stunning sea views. As the day progressed, I took a stroll along the short promenade, admiring the quaint houses and shops built into the rock face. The sunsets here are absolutely magical, painting the cliffs and sea in warm, golden hues. Marina di Praia is truly a slice of Mediterranean paradise that I'll never forget.
