Monte Solaro, Capri

As I stepped off the chairlift onto Monte Solaro, the highest point of Capri, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking panoramic views. The azure Mediterranean stretched endlessly before me, dotted with boats that looked like tiny specks from this height. The rugged coastline of the Amalfi Coast was visible in the distance, creating a stunning contrast with the sea. As I explored, I came across the small hermitage of Santa Maria a Cetrella, a peaceful sanctuary with its own magnificent views. The silence up here was broken only by the occasional cry of a seagull, making it the perfect spot for quiet contemplation or a picnic with an unbeatable backdrop. The journey down can be made on foot for those seeking a bit of adventure, with winding paths offering new perspectives of the island at every turn.
