Chew Jetty, George Town

Stepping onto Chew Jetty feels like traveling back in time. This historic waterfront settlement in George Town, Penang, is a fascinating glimpse into traditional Chinese clan life. As I wandered along the wooden planks, I was struck by the charming stilt houses lining both sides of the jetty. The air was filled with the scent of the sea and incense from nearby temples.
