Fig Tree Bay, Protaras

As I stepped onto the soft golden sand of Fig Tree Bay, I was immediately struck by its breathtaking beauty. The crystal-clear turquoise waters stretched out before me, inviting me to take a refreshing dip. This picturesque beach on the eastern coast of Cyprus is truly a slice of paradise. I spent hours lounging on the beach, soaking up the warm Mediterranean sun and watching the gentle waves lap at the shore. The bay is sheltered by rocky outcrops, creating calm waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. I explored the underwater world, discovering colorful fish and interesting rock formations. For the more adventurous, there are plenty of water sports available, from jet skiing to parasailing. As the day progressed, I took a stroll along the promenade, lined with charming cafes and restaurants. The scent of grilled seafood and traditional Cypriot dishes filled the air, tempting me to indulge in a delicious meal with a view of the bay. The nearby fig trees, from which the bay gets its name, provide welcome shade and add to the area's natural beauty. With its pristine waters, excellent facilities, and stunning scenery, it's no wonder Fig Tree Bay is consistently rated as one of Europe's top beaches.
