Hverir, Reykjahlíð

As I approached Hverir, the landscape transformed into an otherworldly scene. The air was thick with the pungent smell of sulfur, and steam rose from the ground in every direction. This geothermal wonderland, located near Lake Mývatn in northern Iceland, is a testament to the raw power of the Earth. The barren, moon-like terrain is dotted with bubbling mud pots, hissing steam vents, and colorful mineral deposits.
