As I strolled along the famous Les Planches boardwalk, I was captivated by the colorful beach umbrellas and iconic changing cabins bearing names of Hollywood stars. The town's Belle Époque architecture is simply stunning, with grand hotels and beautiful villas lining the streets. I couldn't resist trying my luck at the Casino Barrière, a magnificent building that's been attracting high-rollers for over a century. The pristine sandy beach stretches as far as the eye can see, perfect for long walks or sunbathing. Deauville is also renowned for its equestrian culture, and I was fortunate to witness an exhilarating horse race at the Hippodrome. The town's luxury boutiques and designer shops offer excellent shopping opportunities, while the local markets are a feast for the senses.
