Dead Horse Point State Park, Moab

As I stood at the edge of Dead Horse Point, I was awestruck by the breathtaking panoramic views of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park below. The vast expanse of red rock canyons and mesas stretched as far as the eye could see, creating a landscape that seemed almost otherworldly. The park's name comes from a tragic legend, but the beauty of this place is anything but grim. Hiking trails wind through juniper-studded terrain, offering different perspectives of the stunning scenery. I particularly enjoyed the East Rim Trail, which provided numerous photo opportunities. The visitor center was informative, helping me understand the area's geology and history. As the sun began to set, the landscape transformed, with the red rocks glowing in vibrant hues. It's no wonder this spot is popular for stargazing; the night sky here is incredibly clear.
