Erg Chigaga, M'Hamid

As I stood atop a towering sand dune in Erg Chigaga, I was awestruck by the endless sea of golden sand stretching as far as the eye could see. Erg Chigaga's remoteness means it's less crowded than other Saharan destinations, offering a more authentic desert experience. The journey here, usually by 4x4 from M'Hamid, is an adventure in itself, crossing rocky hamada and dry lake beds.
