Koh Haa (Koh Ha), Ko Lanta

Koh Haa, also known as Koh Ha, is a hidden gem in the Andaman Sea that took my breath away. This cluster of five small islands is a paradise for divers and snorkelers like myself. The crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounding the limestone karsts are teeming with vibrant marine life. I was mesmerized by the colorful coral gardens and the abundance of tropical fish. The highlight of my visit was exploring the underwater caverns and swim-throughs, which felt like entering a magical underwater world. The visibility was incredible, often exceeding 30 meters. I was lucky enough to spot some blacktip reef sharks and even a sea turtle gracefully gliding by. For those who prefer to stay above water, the pristine white sandy beaches are perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. The tranquility of Koh Haa is unmatched, as it's far less crowded than other popular Thai islands. I found the sunset views from the beach absolutely stunning, with the sun painting the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink. Whether you're an experienced diver or a casual beachgoer, Koh Haa offers an unforgettable escape into nature's beauty.
