. First, we will visit the Carambeí Historical Park. It is the largest open-air historical museum in Brazil! There you will learn about Dutch immigration when they arrived in Paraná and their lifestyle at the beginning of the 20th century.
. Time for lunch (optional) at the Koffiehuis, at the entrance to the park. There are snacks, a buffet, Dutch and Indonesian specialties and delicious pies. We recommend you try the “bitterballen” – Dutch meat dumplings. The pies are irresistible too!
. In the afternoon, visit Het Dorp, a replica of a Dutch village with a cheese factory and a laundry room where you can walk among the lavender trees and take lots of photos.
. The next stop in Carambeí is at Frederika’s, a delicious pie house full of flavors! If it's too crowded, we can stop at Oma Nísia, which is smaller and cozy.
. The last stop is Castrolanda, capital of milk. You will visit the Mill, one of the largest in the world outside the Netherlands. Access is via stairs only.
