Path of the Gods (Sentiero Degli Dei), Positano

Imagine walking along a narrow path carved into the side of towering cliffs, with the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea stretching out endlessly below. This is the Path of the Gods, a breathtaking hiking trail that lives up to its divine name. As I trekked along this ancient route, I was constantly in awe of the panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast. The trail winds through lemon groves, wildflower meadows, and charming villages perched precariously on the mountainside. At times, it felt like I was walking through the clouds, with misty valleys below and rugged peaks above. The most unforgettable moment was reaching the viewpoint overlooking Positano, its pastel-colored houses cascading down to the sea like a waterfall of buildings. The path can be challenging in parts, with some steep climbs and uneven terrain, but the reward is well worth the effort. Along the way, I encountered friendly locals, fellow hikers from around the world, and even a few mountain goats. This 8-kilometer trail truly offers a slice of paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
