The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the hot air balloon ride at sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the surreal landscape bathed in golden light. The Göreme Open Air Museum is a must-see, showcasing ancient rock-cut churches with stunning frescoes. I loved exploring the underground cities nearby, marveling at the ingenuity of past civilizations. The town itself has a charming atmosphere, with cozy cave hotels, quaint cafes, and friendly locals. Hiking through the Rose Valley at sunset was a magical experience, the changing colors painting the rock formations in warm hues.
