Petanque (boules) lesson in Provence, Avignon

Our pétanque lessons are available every day, all year long. The tour last at least 2 hours. First we'll teach you, only in English, the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport. Then you'll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You'll play competitive games of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!). Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling. We'll present the winning team with a commemorative trophy during an apero with Pastis, rosé, red wine and traditional homemade Provencal snacks (pâtés, tapenade, mushrooms and goat cheese) while overlooking one of Provence's most magnificent landscapes.
