Sapphire Ice Cave Tour from Jökulsárlón - Extra Small Group, Vatnajokull National Park

An extra-small group tour to the Sapphire ice cave located on Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. This tour is operated by a small, local company.

You'll meet your licensed guide at Jökulsárlón. From there it's an approximately 30 minute drive in a 4x4 truck to the glacier parking. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the edge of the glacier where the Sapphire cave is located. We usually spend around 30-45 minutes in the cave, taking plenty of photos and exploring the various formations in the cave.
