Go through Curepipe city, we arrive at the Trou aux Cerfs, the dormant volcano for over 700,000 yrs, to admire the “caldera” &the 3 highest peaks of Mauritius, with its 360°view. We move through the Black River G. N. Park to the sacred lake Grand Bassin, where you can immerse yourself in Hindu &Tamil culture, in the site of the famous Maha Shivatri pilgrimage, between the various Gods, having fun with the monkeys. We go to viewpoints Alexander Falls and to Gorges before arriving to the bucolic village of Chamarel with the Rhumeria, with all the explanations of the procedure, tasting the different rums. We move to waterfalls and the 7 colored earths, a particular geological site that characterizes this island. We end our tour by relaxing on the beach and a refreshing swim at Le Morne.
