Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation is the oldest and biggest orangutan rehabilitation center in the world. This center covers 4294 hectares. Kabili–Sepilok Forest is a virgin jungle reserve rich in tropical rainforest and mangrove swamp. It was established in 1964 with the intention of rehabilitating orphaned baby orangutans and releasing them back into the wild.
