We head to Soma Hideout to a cosy hut/glass roof kota to wait for the Northern Lights. There we enjoy roasting sausages and warming up with hot chocolate. You can also take a snowshoe walk on the ice lake with light of hand lanterns if you like to.
You can never be sure when the northern lights will rise, but it's always worth hoping. The wide view north from the lake makes it a great place to see the northern lights. The hut is nice place to warm up while you wait.
