Floating On The River Formiga - Cardosa Tour, Barreirinhas

Our tour starts around 08:00h, leaving the hotel in a 4x4 vehicle bound for the town of Cardosa. The journey to this small town takes around 1 hour, but this time is compensated by the fun we will have when we arrive at the destination.

Once we arrived in Cardosa, we soon got ready to start an incredible experience. With the help of buoys, we are going to float on the Formiga River! The river has a very weak current that takes us downstream. The journey lasts around 50 minutes and is very interesting as it gives the visitor the feeling that they are part of the river! There are guides to help throughout the process, but the ride is risk-free and is recommended for all ages, as the current is really calm. A great opportunity to observe the rich vegetation around the river in a very different and pleasant way.

After the descent, we return to Barreirinhas.
